The Pastoral Advisory Council is the primary advisory body to the pastor on all aspects of parish life.  They assess the needs of the parish and its members and offer direction to the pastor for its growth and development in hopes of continuously building a stronger parish community for the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    Formerly known as the Parish Council, the Pastoral Advisory Council sets out to build community within our parish by opening lines of communication, facilitating outreach and service of its parish members to those in need, celebrating community, and encouraging spiritual and educational growth. The Pastoral Advisory Council is not a decision-making body and is not political in nature.
   Quarterly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at 6:30 pm in the Religious Education Center.
    Council Members must:

1. be a baptized Catholic (in rare circumstances an exception can be made with the approval of the pastor)
2. be registered in the parish;
3. have demonstrated a commitment to the parish community
4. commit themselves to spiritual growth;
5. commit themselves to skills development as part of the Christian leadership process;
6. be willing to commit the necessary time and energy to offer effective consultation;
7. be willing to support, encourage, and diligently work toward implementation of Synod
8. recommendations;
9. be familiar with programs of various diocesan commissions and/or standing committees;
10. be willing to take the time and make the effort to open themselves to the training and group
11. process of the formation of council rationale.
